Le Baron are pleased to announce that following continued interest in our exclusive range of real traditional British quality wedding vehicles we have now sourced a Rolls-Royce Phantom, just like the one from the Queen’s fleet which conveyed Kate Middleton to Westminster Abbey for her wedding.
Rolls-Royce continued to produce a chassis for coachbuilt bodies from 1968 to 1991 to supply the (remaining) kings and queens, heads of state and their “music, stage and screen” clientele. In all only 366 were built, and for every one of these magnificent carriages the body was individually built to the new owner’s requirements, with ours being supplied to the Lord Mayor of Manchester with it being used by Princess Anne and the Duchess of Kent. No price was ever quoted but the last one produced was said to have cost over one million US$.
Ours was recently refurbished and is finished in Ascot grey, a mid-shade metallic, which is complemented with the light grey-blue woollen interior piped in Royal blue with matching sumptuous carpeting which exemplifies regal luxury and includes two air conditioning systems. The car of choice for HRH Queen Elizabeth II. A full seven-passenger vehicle this example has large rear quarter lights which provide an excellent view of the bride. These photographs were taken as purchased.
The vehicle has had very light use, including weddings, for a number of years and we are now undertaking a full mechanical service. It is available for 2012/13 weddings and may be available for late 2011 We are now taking bookings but whilst the vehicle is not yet available to view you would be under no obligation until viewed.
